- Dog-friendly downstairs with generous fenced outside space and lots of great walks from the house in the area. The nearest field often holds Highland cattle and purebred Highland ponies, so if you’re lucky you’ll enjoy an early encounter with some of the natives but please make sure your dogs don’t!

DRYING AND STORAGE FOR STUFF
Overall it doesn’t rain here a lot but it does rain sometimes and snow. Drying is important so as well as heated drying inside the house for coats, hats, and boots, there is a large heated drying area and a dryer in the boiler room outside suitable for large coats, wetsuits, bikes etc.
There is a large lockable wooden shed to keep bikes, cycles, skis, snowboards etc. Your host can arrange the rental of sports equipment as it doesn’t come with the house!
