AN OLD HOUSE WITH A NEW LOOK

One of the bedrooms is on the wheelchair-accessible ground floor with an adjoining wheelchair-accessible wet room.  There is space upstairs for a cot in the Drumore Bedroom.

As well as being fully insulated and double glazed, central heating, underfloor heating and efficient log burning stoves ensure you will be super cosy on chilly evenings and the frostiest days and eco-friendly by using the minimum fuel. For romantic and cosy winter nights there is a log-burning stove in The Milton Burn bedroom upstairs.

The Boat House is well connected with fast WiFi throughout, USB plugs beside every bed, good 4G coverage for most networks and a printer.

The dining area opens onto a southeast facing paved area – perfect for sunny breakfasts or later in the day for feasting outside with a wood-burning Indian Fire Bowl.  This is surrounded by a generous fenced grassy area for dogs and small children.  If you are lucky, in the field on the other side of the fence there you may well see some hairy Highland Cattle with their huge horns from our purebred fold; if you are very very fortunate their adorable calves as well.

The Chill Out room can give you a cinema experience with a smart 75” TV with soundbar and Sonos and there are Sonos players in each bedroom and the kitchen Dining Area.

The well-equipped kitchen has a Range cooker, microwave, two fridges and a freezer, dishwasher and includes Lavazza pod coffee maker and a Nutriblast.

As well as excellent heated space for drying coats, boots, hats and gloves inside there is a large heated room outside for wetsuits, dirty wellies and a dryer.

There’s also a bike or welly boot washing area and lots of lockable space outside for bikes, cycles, skis, snowboards, canoes etc.
